Otaku Review

Back when I lived in the Tacoma area and got together with other anime fans on a regular basis, one of my running gags was ‘I’m so otaku…’. The biggest laugh I ever got after finishing that sentence was when I said ‘I’m so otaku, I wear Japanese condoms.’ Well… I may have to change that after I read this. Leave it to Sankaku Complex to report on this but this is just too amusing not to share with everyone else (especially since it’s long been established that Zange-chan IS love!). At a special Kannagi only doujinshi event held over the weekend in Japan, a creative group had special Zange-chan condoms on sale for… you guessed it, 100 yen a pop. The condoms feature a picture of the popular character on the front with the phrase “Put on a rubber, ok?♥” with professionally made condoms from the company ‘Johnny Hat’ inside.

I know that this sounds creepy and weird… but WANT! Not even to wear (I’m single so it’s not like I have a desperate need to them), just to have for pure collection purposes. So if you happened to attend this event and have a couple of them to spare, feel free to drop me a line in the comments. ^_^
