And You Are?…
Who am I and why should my opinion be taken any more seriously than those of the other million fanboys/fangirls out there? That’s a perfectly legitiment question actually and I’m glad you asked.
Since 2001, I have been working as an anime DVD reviewer learning my trade in various ways starting on consumer opinion websites. After about 200 reviews though, I realized that there was a much bigger world out there just waiting for my opinion. Thus on August 31st 2005, Otaku Review was born. Since then I have published over 500 reviews of anime DVDs, soundtracks and hentai games while also jumping head first into the very competive world of reporting and interviewing.
I came to today.com in an effort to increase not only my own visibility but also my own skills as I continue to pursue a dream career. While I would be happy to take a job as an entertainment reporter, the dream of being able to support myself purely by watching, reviewing, reporting on and generally being immersed in the world of anime continues to be the brass ring that I reach for.
Blogging is not my primary forte (as some of my early posts will probably tell you) but as long as people are willing to read and give me feedback on how to improve, I will continue to write and share my opinions on the news as it happens.
