Help Me Name My Mascot!
A few months ago while hanging out with a friend back in Washington, the idea was brought up that I needed a mascot. At first I was a little puzzled by this as I had never felt the need to have a mascot before but as soon as she brought up the idea I knew that I wanted one. We worked together to come up with some rough sketches but nothing ever really came to light. Thanks to modern technology however, life is good and Otaku Review has its own official mascot character!
Here she is… my official right hand woman! What do you think? Cute isn’t she? Here’s the problem though, she doesn’t have a name! In her conceptual stage the running name that my friend and I tossed back and forth was ‘Ms. Sashimi’. In retrospect, that idea is very funny but not something that I’d like to be throwing around so now I’m opening it up to readers. There may even be a prize in store for the person who submits the winning name!
So does she remind you more of a Kagami? Maybe something more western like Sarah? You’ll be the one who eventually decides!

At this point, our new favorite character in question has informed me that she is not happy with the image I included with this entry because it cut off the very cute red shoes she is wearing with her pink dress. ~_^
I like Wendy’s name, though I’d go for something like Reiya (Leia)…just because I like the name. And she’s pretty. ^^
Sashimi as a nickname would be quite funny, though, haha! Just curious..why’s it thanks to modern tech? -puzzled-
@Jenn: I designed her with 3D Custom Girl but saying ‘thanks to modern tech’ sounds a little less weird and creepy ^_^
Pinky…Pinky Taskadara (sp), from Happy Days was the first thing I thought of when I saw her. I know, my age is showing again. dang.
Sandy
welcome mats always out for visitors
Why did I have ‘Euphemia’ flashing in my head when i saw her…must have been the pink curls on the side of her head XD
How about Momoko Ai? Momoko from momorio which is Japanese for pink and Ai for love (since her earrings have hearts on them :P).
I shall chip in and say she looks nothing like Euphemia! Isn’t it just hair that frames her face..Euphemia has like — buns.
The heart-shaped earrings are a good spot, though.
