AnimeNation reported this morning that Geneon has set a 3/6 release date for the ‘Hayate the Combat Butler’ (Hayate no Gotoku) OVA on the official website . The highly popular series will be released in regular/limited edition DVD and Blu-ray format. The series follows a 16 year old who ends up saving a girl after trying a kidnapping attempt gone wrong. As a show of gratitude, he is rewarded with the job as her butler which he accepts and vows to protect her with his life. The manga series has already been adapted into 52 episode TV series (licensed by Bandai last year) and has another on the way.
